Make Mothers Matter (MMM) is an international NGO created in 1947 to raise the awareness of policy makers and public opinion on the contribution of mothers to social, cultural and economic development. MMM brings together and represents a network of 40 organisations from 28 countries around the world. MMM has no political or religious affiliations, and thus transparently voices the concerns of mothers at international level with permanent MMM representatives at the United Nations (General Consultative Status) and at the European Union

MMM European Delegation works to influence policies at the European Union level with the aim to achieve a positive change in mothers’ lives. We believe this will revert on their children, their family and the whole of society. Our work is performed in a transparent manner in accordance with the transparency register established by the European Commission and the Parliament, to which we are linked. It is within this public register that the representatives of interests from different sectors share information concerning their advocacy activities at the EU level.
